Inner Throne

November 30, 2010

How to find your inner throne or inner beauty in a world that’s so focused on the external.  A world that’s so focused on material things.  A world focused on looking good, looking good, and looking good!  A world that wants you to rush through life without taking the time to enjoy it.  Everyone is so busy in the 21st century.  Parents go to work to make a living.  Kids go to school to get an education.  However,we spend loads of time in between on the internet, texting, listening to i-pods, and watching flatscreen blu-ray television screens.  Entertainment is a profession for most of us in this society.  We spend and invest in this illusion that keeps are pockets empty, arrests are creativity, kills are brain cells, and sabotages are ability to find our inner- beauty.  Entertainment is beautiful for all the people who create it.  The producers, directors, editors, publishers, etc.. all know their inner throne and they invest in creating this fantasy for us to live in.  Inner beauty is waking up everyday with this inner enthusiasm to live your vision in the world.  Getting out of bed with direction, and a conviction to improve the quality of life on this planet.  You are a crop duster spreading seeds of inspiration to the fields of life that surround you.  Listen up people! Life is beautiful!  Life is precious! Life is filled with wonder, adventure, and amazement!  Life is a journey see what you can find!  Don’t hide, it is okay to cry, and get knocked down sometimes!  Just get up, get over it and look for the beauty again.  When your on your thrown and on your game life is perfect.  For example, I will use my life as an example.  I planned my day yesterday with the precision of an architect and I played in it like a kid playing in a sandbox.  Everything that I completed was fun, awesome and amazing.  I felt so much energy, and connection to the flow of life.  Then, the relationship curse hit me like a sledgehammer.  The dreaded past came roaring by like a freight train ready to destroy the rest of my day.  I internalized a conversation between my wife and I about the past.  I made the choice in the moment to leave my thrown and be defensive, stuck, aggravated, reactive, and moody for the rest of the day.  I snapped at my kids, ignored my wife, and missed the opportunity to put closure on a spectacular day.  Remember, I made the choice to react to the situation, not just hear it for what it was.  It knocked me off my thrown like a gymnast falling off a balance beam during the Olympics.  It killed my confidence, erased my inner beauty, and kidnapped my purpose for the rest of the day.  When you experience this type of day, just go to a quiet place, reflect, and recommit to playing in the sandbox.  The inner-throne is your only power source.  The “Mitochondria” of your daily experiences.  You are responsibile for staying on your throne.  Remember life is a moment to moment phenomenom, so you can always get back to the flow of life.  You know when you are back own your throne.  It feels majical!
