Inspirational Chills!

Wow!  I just finished reading an article about AG Gaston referred to me by my wife.  He was a successful African American Businessman.  AG Gaston created a financial empire that made  millions, and made a colossal difference in peoples’ lives.  Gaston did not empower his circumstances, he empowered his vision.  He was born in Alabama in 1892, raised by a single mom who was a domestic, experienced severe racial discrimination, witnessed lynchings of his people, fought in World War I in a segregated Unit, and worked his way up from making $3.10 a day as a day laborer at a coal company.  Despite it all, he held firmly to his vision, and let go of all the misery around him.  He used his keen faculty of insight, intuition, and observation to transform struggle into opportunity. Adversity into legacy.  A racial nightmare into economic opportunity.  His famous quote,”Successful businesses are founded on the needs of the people!”  Inspiration is everywhere!  Life has the simplicity of two ways of seeing!  Either your inspired by something, or you’re inspiring something or someone.  Anything else is survival!  What else is it in life besides inspiration, chills, and goosebumps.  I’m touched moved and inspired by so many people in so many ways.  I’m inspired by the beauty of nature.  I’m inspired by the perfection of the human body.  People, places, events, keep me lit up like a Christmas Tree.  I keep an inspiration pad to document inspiration that moves freely around me!  My wife is fulfilling her life-long dream of becoming a Veterinarian!  When I watch my daughter excel at her gymnastics!  Seeing my son run for his first touchdown in Pop Warner tackle football on a cold windy rainy day..! What more do I need!  When I have a meaningful conversation with a teenager at a group home for abused children and I witness  transformation, freedom, excitement, and enthusiasm in her eyes.  Inspiration is freedom!  Stay available, ready , and open to the people, places, events past, present, and future that create the catalyst for the discovery of your purpose.  Keep your eyes open, heart purified, and mind clear for the adventure that awaits you!  Give yourself permission to explore life and all that it has to offer.  Chills, thrills, goosebumps, AHA moments, simple pleasures,.. stormy weather.. memorable moments, forgettable moments, laughter, crying, sobs, sighing, mourning, struggle, hustle,… its all good… just seek the inspiration from it all!  Breathe, inhale inspiration, and exhale… expectation!  Say Yes! Commit to it.. and let it guide you to the highest heights! Peace!
